Franklin D. Eboch

Franklin D. Eboch, 74, Morrisdale, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. Franklin was born February 27, 1942 in Philipsburg. He was the son of the late Charles, Sr. & Alice Madeline (Brown) Eboch. He was married to Bonnie (Hummel) Eboch on October 6, 1962, she survives. He is also survived by three children Crystal (Joseph) Shimmel of Morrisdale, James (Dawn) Eboch of Montoursville, and Jason (Kim) Eboch of Morrisdale, a sister Nancy Minarich of Philipsburg, a brother Robert (Patricia) Eboch of Florida, seven grandchildren Bridget Schnarrs, Tyler Shimmel, Nicholas Eboch, Stephen & Michael Houseknecht, Cam Eboch, and Chance Eboch, two great-grandchildren Lukas & Aubree Colton and their father Chris Colton, and two sister-in-laws Gladys Eboch from Ohio and Carol Eboch from Clearfield. . Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dolores June Bowman and two brothers Charles “Flit” Jr. and William Eboch. Franklin was a graduate of Philipsburg H.S. He had worked as a welder for Cerro Metal in Bellefonte. He was a member of Morrisdale United Methodist Church. He loved the Lord, his family, and his dogs especially Mikey, John Deere Tractors, yard sales, and his garage with many tools and woodworking. Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 9th from 2-4 and 6-8 at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home in Philipsburg. There will also be viewing on Friday, June 10th from 10am until 11am at the Morrisdale United Methodist Church. Services will follow at the church at 11am with Pastor Tina Hawkins & Pastor Connie Dixon officiating. Burial will take place in Grandview Cemetery in Morrisdale. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Morrisdale United Methodist church general fund or orphans of the storm.
